The Saint Pierre Church in Hatay has been one of the most important places in the spread of Christianity to the world. This church in Hatay, where all three denominations of Christianity were together, was declared a place of pilgrimage by Pope Paul IV. in 1983. This city, where 3 holy religions live together, has the first mosque of Anatolia; Habibi Neccar Mosque also has other temples like Ulu Mosque and Saint Simon Monastery.
It also continues to be a point of interest for extreme sports. It offers opportunities both for tourists and water sport fans to enjoy in the Turkey’s longest beach Samandag Beach.
