Turkish Film Festival Mannheim
Founded in 1987 and emerging as part of the International Mannheim-Heidelberg Film Festival, Germany's oldest Turkish film festival has developed over the years to become an independent platform for Turkish-German dialogue.
The festival's core idea remained the same: Our goal is to draw the attention of both German and Turkish audiences to high-profile Turkish cinema culture and present it in an appealing framework.
It is to engage in a mutual exchange. The highly current political developments make confronting sociopolitical positions and being able to view them from new perspectives equally important. Is there a more suitable environment than cinema for developing mutual understanding and empathy, bringing discussions to life, and entering a foreign culture, an unexplored world (the world of cinema)?
This anniversary edition of the festival has incorporated unique venues that can serve as guides for intercultural dialogue and cultural education throughout the city. We are delighted to once again welcome Turkey's beloved film stars and directors to the festival's cinemas, where we can all come together and talk.
Without the financial and intellectual support of countless individuals and institutions, our festival would not have been possible in its current form from the very beginning. I would like to express my gratitude to the two patrons of our festival, Mannheim Mayor Dr. Peter Kurz and Turkish Consul General Cem Örnekol. This year, our festival received support from the Mannheim City Council's Department of Culture, the Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey, and, as the main sponsor, the SUNTAT group of companies, while numerous renowned companies in our Rhein-Neckar metropolitan region also provided their assistance.

German-Turkish Institute for Business and Education (DTI)
In 2011, the company president, together with individuals of German and Turkish origin and with the support of the University of Business Economics (HdWM), founded the association "German-Turkish Business and Education Institute"(DTI) to promote higher education. One of DTI's focal points is the creation of international exchange programs in education and higher education, including opportunities for acquiring multiple qualifications and internships. It also supports the development of synthesis and understanding between Germans and Turks living in Germany. It aims to attract talented young professionals from both countries and open up the German education market to students, young people, and young adults from Turkey by providing young people with opportunities for both intercultural and scientific exchange.
