Central Anatolia Region

This region is geographically located in the middle on the fertile lands of Anatolia. Central Anatolia shows the continental climate, which winters are cold and snowy, summers are hot and dry.

Turkey’s capital, Ankara and one of the rare examples of natural beauties “hoodoo” located in Nevsehir in this region.

Many kinds of cereals suitable for this climate grow in these soils. Therefore, the Central Anatolia Region is also called a granary. In addition to agriculture, animal husbandry and industrial activities are also carried out.

Central Anatolia cuisine, where various combinations of pastries, bulgur and meat are made, is the point for demanding and delicious dishes.
